William Henry Harrison led forces against a growing group of Native Americans living in Prophetstown, a village located in the Wabash valley. On the night of November 7, 1811, the group of Native Americans, led by Tecumseh's brother Tenskwatawa, attacked U.S. forces camped outside of Prophetstown. The battle was seen as a catalyst for the War of 1812, and was used as part of a campaign slogan during William Henry Harrison's 1840 presidential campaign.
